Beautiful and functional wooden Captains Bed with canopy for sale. $500 OBO. Dimensions in photos. Does NOT include the mattress or bedding. This frame fits a CALIFORNIA KING MATTRESS. Nothing wrong with it, we are just reorganizing and redecorating and it doesn't fit the style we're going for. Please excuse the mess in photos (I blurred it out in the photos). This bed has a TON of storage. Most that we didn't even need to use. The bottom portion has 4 drawers on each side + a cabinet. The foot of the bed had another cabinet. The headboard has 1 small drawer at each side (perfect for storing small protection devices) and a cabinet with glass doors. The cabinets have a light inside of them which was nice for nighttime reading. The 2 posts at the foot of the bed each had 2 shelves. There's also a little shelf at the foot of the bed. You should be able to see all of these in the photos. The headboard has a hole that is perfect to still the cord of an extension cable through so you can charge your phones. There's also a small hidden cubby right behind the mattress. The part of the frame that actually holds the mattress overhangs the drawers which helped prevent fur from our dogs getting into the drawers. The Canopy of the bed can either be left open as shown in the majority of the photos or you can put the mirrored ceiling tiles on it. We had it up occasionally during winter as it does keep it nice and warm but it got to be a pain to keep putting back on so we just left it off. We have all of the mirror tiles and framing stored safely but I didn't want to re-install them for photos just to take it back off. I had some photos from when we first moved in so hopefully that will give you an idea of what it looks like. The bed is nice and tall. I'm 5' 4" and I never had any issues getting onto the bed. Our mattress has a pillow top so that made it even taller to get into. It has a beautiful floral design carved into the sides. The floral designs can also be found on the headboard mirror and glass door cabinets. There are some scratches here and there, mostly on the little shelf at the end of the bed where pups would sometimes use it to jump off. We purchased this for $1500 but since it has scratches, we marked it down but feel free to send me an offer for consideration. You must take down yourself.
