Vintage 1970s W. Lee Impasto Winter Landscape Oil Painting Ornate Wood Frame

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage oil on canvas painting featuring a tranquil winter landscape with a peaceful snow-covered river winding through a forest of trees. Richly applied paint using a heavy impasto palette knife technique creates exceptional texture and dimension, allowing the snow-covered trees and riverbanks to catch the light for a striking three-dimensional effect. The artwork is signed “W. Lee” in the lower right corner, a classic mid-century décor art pseudonym commonly associated with quality decorative paintings from the 1970s–1980s. The painting is presented in its original multi-tiered dark wood frame with an inner liner accent, complementing the rustic woodland scene. The paint layer is intact with bright whites, warm earthy tones, and excellent texture throughout. The frame displays light, age-appropriate vintage wear while remaining clean, sturdy, and structurally sound.
