1974 Evinrude Fisherman 6402C 6hp Outboard Motor

condition: excellent  make / manufacturer: Evinrude  model name / number: 6402C  The motor came out of a storage unit and look to be very well maintained. I am not a boat mechanic so I can not run the engine but putting it into great and pulling the start cord the prop moves freely as well as in reverse. I also took off the fuel filter and it was nice and clean. The engine is nice and clean and the body has minor oxidation (see pics). I also noticed the spark plugs have a little over spray blue paint and I think they are the original plugs which makes me believe the engine was hardly used. I am selling the engine 'as is' condition and it is for local pickup only. You are welcome to come by and have a mechanic come look at the engine. Also the engine comes with a 3.5 gas tank with pump bulb and line and it locks into the engine with no issues.
