Slight marks on the wood base. Sculpture is in excellent condition. In Poway. Pickup only. Price is firm. Cash only. No holds. Yes this item is still available. A little about the artist: “Rodo Padilla is in Mexico, one of the most renowned sculptors in high temperature ceramic (stoneware). Some of his best known pieces are also made in bronze. Rodo Padilla proudly lives and works in his town of birth Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. He graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Guadalajara, he majors in ceramic materials and design, in Toki and Nagoya, Japan, in addition to design courses in Buenos Aires, Argentina and in Faenza, Italy. Rodo performs solo and group exhibitions since 1992 in various galleries in Mexico and some in the U.S. His most work is on permanent display in two galleries in Tlaquepaque in Pto Vallarta and Riviera Maya.
