You probably have been looking at other mendini drum kits for your kids first drum set for less money? Well what can I say “ these are cheesy little kid drum sets that I guarantee will break soon after your kid starts beating on them instead of your “ pots and pans” I have invested my time and rebuilt these drum sets with better hardware and brackets from adult sets , no little piece of shit floor Tom pedal, I am including a nice adult pedal with oversized springs so your kid won’t complain his pedal is a turd and is beyond repair , I took 2- complete mendini sets and made 1-nice double base set better cymbals on nice shortened adult size stands , new drum heads and an extra set as well . Remember your kid is gonna beat the shit out of his first drum set until he learns how to be a “rock star” or at least learn some basic drum beats so they won’t drive you insane. All little kids want a drum set, the question is are they serious about being a drummer or just like making noise. As a parent you have to decide if you can survive this learning curve , if your kid has true aptitude you will know within one month, being a drummer is a way of life you either are a drummer for life or your just making loud irritating noise your neighbors will complain. I am willing to offer to set up this set in your beat laboratory for your kid to insure he understands how to set up and maintain his first set , part of being a percussionist is nowing how and what to do when drum kit requires adjustments , or it will break and become just another toy they discard to the land of misfit toy’s ! Just think if your kid is any good at drumming he will want to graduate to a jr. pro set within 3-6 months thank fully if this happens you will be able to salvage some parts from this “ his first drum set to his 2nd. For me half the fun of being a drummer is learning how to build a better bigger set of drums from parts from other drum kits “ the guy with the biggest drum kit win’s “.
