Description

The first lamp pictured on the left is a Dietz Acme Inspector Lamp. The back of the lantern is embossed with New York USA. On top of the globe handle is embossed with A J & S F Co. Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway. Globe is embossed with Dietz Fitzall New York USA on the front of globe which is clear glass, on the back of the globe H9 is embossed, research told me the globe was manufactured in September 1923, that hints on the age of the lamp. It’s all there nothing missing or broken. The square frame that protects the bell housing around the globe has 2 small dents, one on the left, and one on the right. The second lamp in the picture from the left is a Adlake Reliable/ The Adam’s & Westlake Co New York Chicago Phila on the top of the vent. C. & N. W. RY or Chicago & North Western Railway on the lid. The patent dates are all along the edge of the lid starting with May 5, 1908 ending with April 1, 1913. Based off of the last patent date the clear globe embossed with C. & N. W. After research my guess on its age would be1(contact info removed). This is a tall globe lantern with the globe measuring 5 1/2 in. tall. There are 2 small dents on the top 1 on the vent 1 on the lid, The weld on the wire bell stand is broken. It’s fully functional nothing is missing. The third lamp to the far right is a Dietz Hurricane Lantern. Top vent is embossed with Dietz, base front has Made In The United States Of America, as well as the fill cap. On the back of the base is Dietz Comet. The globe is clear glass, front is embossed with H5 Dietz Syracuse, N.Y. U.S.A. On the back Comet Reg D.U.S. Pat. Off. the back of the globe has a crack in it. All of it is there it’s fully functional, I also have a spare globe to go with it, not a comet but a newer model hurricane. I’m asking $100 for the three of them, OBO
