"Glad Tidings Christmas Official 1978 Bethlehem Porcelain Bell. The Art work of the wise men and the Star & Angel appearing to the 3 wise men in a lovely blended shades of color. In beautiful condition with no chips or cracks! Lovely Shiney White with a perfect size of the Glad Tidings Mural with just enought of Gold paint trimed around the top, middle and base. All details of authenticity are listed on the porcelain back, photos show detail. Approx: 6" T x 3 1/2" W weighing 6 ounce. A Bit of History: This Porcelain Bell is a collectible item from 1978 and is part of a series of Christmas Bells. It Features a depiction of the Nativity scene, likely based on the artwork of Sister Berta Hummel, as similar bells in the series are associated with her work. These bells were often made in West Germany by Schmid Brothers. I do have other lovely Bells listed if interested.
