Need A High Quality Shed?

Description

Several sizes available from 4x8 to 12x20 Pictured is a 6x12 lean-to shed with custom paint. These aren’t kit sheds. We aren’t salesman for a giant shed manufacturing company. We’re a local business building the shed I wanted but couldn’t find for my own backyard. Why choose us? + You get 50yr rated exterior panels on your shed. Impregnated with waxes and resins, these exterior panels don’t absorb water, rot from the ground up, or require regular painting or maintenance. Most builders use T1-11 wooden siding that requires paint every 1-3 years to keep it protected from the elements. If you’ve ever seen a wooden shed that’s rotting away, it’s usually because the bottom edge of the T1-11 siding wasn’t painted or sealed. When exposed to moisture from rain or snow it swells up. Then dries out, and eventually becomes brittle and falls apart as this cycle gets repeated. We’ve solved that problem for you by using materials that don’t absorb moisture, even if they aren’t painted. + You get 25yr+ rated maintenance free trim. The cheaper pine trim most builders use requires sealing (usually with paint) or it will absorbs water, swell, then dry out and start to degrade. The trim we use is naturally moisture and insect resistant. It won’t cup, crack, warp, or rot away, and it doesn’t require paint (although it can be painted). + You get lifetime (30yr+) algae resistant architectural style roofing shingles. A leaky roof will ruin a shed (and everything in it). Your shed gets a solid, sturdy roof that’s water-tight and designed to last decades. + You get a locking double door with a key (standard). Door sag ruins sheds. That’s why your shed will have doors that are strong enough to be sturdy yet light enough not to sag. We use three 6” heavy duty hinges per door. Your left door has spring-loaded bolts top and bottom so you can lock it in place. The right door has a lip that closes over the left door, and includes a locking T-handle with a key for you to secure your valuables. + You get gable vents, a 4” overhang, and aluminum drip edge… all included standard. Overhangs keep water from the roof from running down the walls of your shed. Drip edge protects the wood and creates a more finished look. Gable vents allow rising heat to escape, and create air flow for moisture management so you don’t develop mold problems. Some companies charge extra for this stuff. We don’t. We see them as necessities if you want a shed that lasts, so we include them with every build. + You get a solid shed base constructed out of 30yr ground contact rated, pressure treated lumber. We use sturdy 2x6 joists every 16” on center, topped with 3/4” thick weather resistant flooring. (Some companies try to save on lumber costs by using thinner materials, or spacing joists further apart). We typically build the base so it’s slightly elevated and not in direct contact with the ground. This allows for airflow and moisture management, and extends the lifespan of the boards because they’re not sitting in the mud. Got something heavy you want to park in your shed? We can make your floors even stronger by placing joists every 12”, every 10”, or adding additional 4x4 supports down the center of the floor. + You get walls built with full 2x4 framing lumber. We inspect and hand-select all our lumber to make sure we get boards that are as straight, strong, and defect-free as possible. Some companies use 2x3’s or even 2x2’s in their walls. We use full 2x4’s every 24” standard, or every 16” on request. + You can also add ramps, lofts, windows, workbenches, custom paint, and more. Just ask. Looking for something I didn’t cover here? Feel free to shoot me a message. Happy to chat and answer any questions you may have. - Steve
