1969 Martin D-18 Natural

Very good condition 1969 Martin D-18. This is the best sounding D-18 I’ve had the pleasure of having in my studio, and that is certainly saying a lot. No breaks. The top, and back of this example are in very good shape for the age, especially the top. Almost no pick wear etc. Original finish throughout. Incredibly warm and open tone that will record beautifully. No need for a neck set, as the action is nice and low. Replacement pickguard. Rosewood bridge replacement. Pro refret. Added K&L pickup (sounds very nice). Not much else to say that anyone in the market for a good D-18 doesn’t already know. A flat pickers dream. Lower bout side shows some obvious wear as pictures, but no patches etc. Medium weight. Tuners work well and hold tune nicely. No loose braces etc. This one is going to be someone’s new favorite. Comes with minty Reunion Blues soft shell case (I will pack properly for shipment if needed). Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
