Antique Rose Marbled Glass And Bronze Brass Chandelier

Rose Marble Glass and Bronze Chandelier with brass chain. This chandelier is beautiful and stunning. The glass is beautiful and is in great condition as is the fixture. This is a very high-quality vintage fixture made of solid metal and so it is very heavy and the glass is also very heavy (probably about 40 lbs total). The fixture measures approximately 24” high by 30” across. I do not know the actual age of the chandelier, but I have found chandeliers of a similar style from the 1920’s and 1930’s in my research and I would guess that it was originally a chandelier over a dining room table and was later converted to an entryway light. It comes with approximately 7 feet of chain but the chain is a little tarnished, has a few specks of white paint and has a few open links. Since the color of the chain is slightly lighter and more of a brassy gold, I don’t think this is the original chain. IMPORTANT NOTE - when a previous owner converted the light to an entryway light, they poorly spliced new wire to the old wire midway up the chain - I would highly recommend rewiring the lighting before installing. Note that there is paint on the electric cover plate from a previous owner, and while the plate does say Wesgate Lighting, I am not sure that they are the manufacturer since the chain may not be original. The mounting plate is included, but the mounting screws and wire nuts are not as I needed them for the new light I installed. Lightbulbs are also not included.
