Description
The Plant Formerly Known As “Wandering Jew”, has now been renamed colloquially to “Wandering Dude” because its former name was considered offensive. It is also known as “Inch Plant” and “spiderwort”. Native to Mexico, Central America, and Colombia, this beloved plant has been naturalized to other regions of the world. It can now be found growing in the wild in locations such as Asia, Africa, Australia, South America and, the Caribbean. It is a creeping vine. Keep away from full sun as prolonged exposure will eventually scorch and damage the leaves. It will thrive if placed in a location that receives early morning sun (sunrise to noon) or late evening sun (after 5pm). Otherwise, keep in a bright room (bright enough to read a book).
