Description
Clear Archival Polyester Film for Encapsulation, Preservation, Display of Paper & Other Valued Items There are 6 rolls (only 2 pictured) of archival polyester film I have for sale; all are new, never opened. Price is for one (1) roll only, NOT all 6. Each roll is 40” wide, 100’ long and 4 mils (.004”) thick. I purchased them to encapsulate my poster collection and have been very pleased with the quality of this film. Each roll weighs about 14 lbs (without shipping box). The cardboard roll core opening is 3” in diameter. This clear archival polyester film has many uses. This is an inert material and may be safely used for encapsulating letters, documents, posters, maps, prints and other valued papers. It can be used for any archival applications for your collection, in a museum or in a library making mat windows, interleaving, covering work tables and other archival applications. in the museum or library (covers, displays, exhibits, shelf or drawer liners, mat windows, photo corners, etc.). Archival polyester is a neutral pH, inert material, which offers a glass-clear, acid and lignin-free, non-yellowing/clouding, protective material, that allows you to handle and view valuable paper objects. Archival polyester is stiff, although it can be easily rolled, it doesn’t crumple. This ‘stiffness’, especially at 4 mils, offers contents a very good level of support and resistance from damage. AVAILABLE AS LONG AS LISTED.
