Last time I serviced this was April of 2020 At Adrian's Pro Audio In Los Angeles Keep in mind the Mixer" inputs" 1-8 and Recording assigned Tracks 1-8 are two different systems within the 388 Issues I found myself: Track 2 Recording Playback has bad signal and has a static sound , but the Mixer XLR and 1/4 on Input 2 work . The pan knob on Input 2 can engage track 1 recording when panned far left and gets good playback. XLR Trim signal on Input 6 doesn't work , when I use a different XLR input say on input 8... and assign it to track 6 it works and engages recording on track 6 fine , also the 1/4 input on 6 works and records on track 6 fine Would recommend getting it serviced Old reel tapes I had recordings on sounded great on every track when I played them back on the system . Selling AS IS $2000 OBO
