An original painting of a Japanese style courtyard. Oil on canvas, mounted on board. Framed, signed, dated 1964 Dimensions: 41” W x 29” H Condition: Overall, this painting is in good condition, though it may benefit from a light cleaning. The frame has a few minor scuffs. Additional Info: Edmund Bruce Stowe (1(contact info removed)) E.B. Stowe was a prolific Florida painter known for his landscapes that depicted the flora and fauna of the Sunshine State, especially near his home along the St. Johns River in Sanford. After serving in WW1, he taught art at the home that he built for over 40 years. Among his many accolades, his work was once featured in the U.S. Capitol, honoring senior citizen artists.
