The screen shots from their website feature their updated design. We are offering the original sofa design, where the chaise lounge connects underneath the body of the couch. This gives you a secure L shaped couch while giving easy flexibility to have the floating ottoman or even change the chaise from left orientation to right orientation. We rearrange the furniture regularly and have found great pleasure in such a modular couch. When we moved, the easy breakdown design was a joy to work with. Each piece comes apart, allowing the couch to be packed flat. Reassembly was straight forward too. The couch is very comfortable and the pillows and cushions feel as good as they did when we originally purchased it. The cushions don't shift around from use. The pillows are perfect for rearranging for maximum comfort positioning, but they also stay put when you want them to. I've slept purposely on the couch numerous times and have woken up fresh and comfortable every time. The couch even lures me to naps when I wasn't planning on it. The couch has been meticulously cared for in our home. The pillowcases are cleaned/changed regularly (they are basically three king size pillows and two standard pillows. I'm genuinely sad to let the standard pillows go. They are my favorite). The whole of the couch is completely covered with a clean king size blanket every week to keep everything clean and like new.
