Gorgeous used solid wood french provincial style dresser with curved edges and feet. The wood has a sheen to it and a beautiful reddish hue like cherry with black speckling. Original finish, drawer and door handles. Vintage craftsmanship and curved designs give it character and the top has a two-tone large checker pattern. This dresser has been so great for our small space, i.e. where you have a long wall but can't fit anything too deep. With its solid stature and nine spacious drawers has many uses, e.g.: - clothes dresser - dining room credenza for storing silverware and linens - large TV console and media storage for cd's, dvd's, games, and electronic cables - craft storage, paper, scrapbooking, ribbon Has normal wear for a piece of this age (lots of little marks and dings when looking up close with a light shone on it, some rubbing near handles) but the finish is still very much intact. Ready to be used as-is, but would also be a great candidate for refinishing! (if you want a different look such as french farmhouse, rustic, or beachy chic, e.g. with lighter or contrasting colors). Being very solid, this is pretty heavy, so you will need two strong people to load it. The drawers are easily removable.
