Mid-Century Modern (MCM) walnut and cedar hope chest bench produced by Lane Furniture. Dimensions: 52” Wide x 17" High x 17.5" Deep. It features a rich walnut exterior with a signature tufted Naugahyde (black vinyl) upholstered bench seat. The front is characterized by several carved recessed panels. Good condition, no cracks or damage! The interior is lined with aromatic red cedar, traditionally used as a "hope chest" or blanket chest. • Era: Originally manufactured around the early 1960s (circa 1961).
