New in box. I have about 10 of these kits. If you buy four, i will give you one free. Each box contains 10 seed trays that each hold 12 seeds, 10 automatic watering trays, 10 protective domes, 10 discs for either lighting or controlling airflow, two plastic tools. I used two of these kits last year. It worked amazingly. However, it was not good for fast growing pumpkin seeds or any large seed. The lids kept the birds and other animals from eating the seeds while still providing air flow. The self watering feature was really handy for a busy person. If you just fill the bottom, it keeps the seeds moist for days. I am going to use them again this year. However, I have too many and want to sell the ones that I did not use. some of the boxes are open, and some are still sealed check. The open one --are all complete. Amazon used to sell lights with these but they don't anymore. If you buy small Christmas lights you can put them through the holes in the top if you want. I never used my lights. The sun was bright enough! in these, i started cukes, melons, spinach, etc. nothing bothered them in there. But if I had put them in the soil, the creatures would have probably eaten them.
