2011 Rainier Eagle Yurt, 30’ diameter 3rd owner, lived in for less than a year and since stored in covered garage and shed 36” wide solid wood half light door Douglas Fir rafters 7'-4" tall walls 27 two-toned exterior wall fabric panels (forest green and tan) 2 wall panels with vinyl windows Clear dome with hardwear to open dome 28 oz. Vinyl Coated Polyester roof layer with rain diverter over the door Wind and snow package: Double layer roof insulation for an R10 rating Double layer wall insulation for an R10 rating Eagle blocks (go between rafters for increase structural support for snow load) Stove flashing (hole in lattice for stove pipe to exit yurt) All hardwear included Manual for setting up yurt The Eagle is the only yurt made with a modular wall system that allows you to re-configure the walls as desired. Panel sections are easy to replace if the walls are damaged. Rainier Yurt company is very good at supporting yurt owners with questions and replacements, even for used yurts. Walls, windows, rafters and roof were stored in garage and shed but had some evidence of critters causing superficial dirt and grime that could be cleaned and sanded (rafters) off. Yurt is currently stored in a heated storage facility and can be picked up using a 17’ uhaul box truck or comparable tow trailer.
