Reduced to sell* Black 6-speed manual BMW E83 X3 3.0 for sale. Drives and sounds like an E46 330CI with a little more utility and rear wheel biased all wheel drive. This vehicle is equipped with BMW’s M54 engine (Ward’s Auto 10 best engines list from 2001 to 2003) which is smooth, powerful (230 hp/220torq) and one of the most reliable engines produced by BMW. This is a high mileage and very well maintained vehicle. It has 207,000 miles and drives solid. Its a quick and sporty vehicle that will get you through rough terrain and bad weather. Its very reliable and has been completely restored to as close as new without rebuilding the engine. Its a great all around vehicle that will be fun to drive, easy to work on, very affordable to maintain, and will be with you over the next 20+ years if you take care of it. CONS: Outside- headlights and bumpers need restoration - spare tire is in great shape but really old Inside - radio and speakers are new but need to be reinstalled - headliner will need to be redone at some point - driver’s seat has a tear in the middle - the trunk area is partially damaged with scratches from using the car like a small truck. PROS: The engine and drivetrain are solid (no vacuum or oil leaks). All gaskets, cooling system, and common ware items have been replaced. The all wheel drive system along with all suspension components have been replaced. The breaks and tires are nearly new. I believe the clutch is original but linkage has been replaced, feels great and will last for another few years. Lots of maintenance has been done within the last two years (worth over 10k in receipts). The engine oil will need to be replaced in a year from now and no other maintenance will be needed anytime soon. The car can take you across country and back right now. All maintenance records will be included. I also have receipts for the new parts like the stereo (Kenwood), speakers (Bav Audio), tires (Falken Wild Peak), intake (AFE), exhaust (SuperSprint - which has a deep sporty tone).
