Description

Upside: This flat burr doser-less coffee grinder has a vernier gear adjustment system, which means it can be precisely set, but does not lend itself to changing between one grind and another and then returning to the exact setting. It is designed to be used as an espresso grinder but can be adjusted to any coffee grind. The grinder has a micro-switch located below the hopper that allows your portafilter to actuate the grinder to aid in loading the coffee into your portafilter. Full disclosure: The hopper on the grinder is prone to breaking at its attachment point. I have purchased two spare hoppers, but have also shimmed the grinder and added some foam material to reduce the stress on the hopper. I have not had a hopper fail since.
