2008 BMW 535i

185,000 miles. Clean Arizona title in hand and signed, ready to go. The car was running and driving well, but a couple of months ago it developed a small engine knock. As soon as I noticed it, I stopped driving the car. It has been sitting since then. The car cranks but won’t start now. It could be something simple, it could be something major — I honestly don’t know because I’m not a mechanic and haven’t had it diagnosed. The interior is in great condition for the year with leather seats, heated seats, cold A/C, sunroof, keyless entry, power seats, power windows, and all the original BMW features. The exterior has some sun fade and clear coat peeling from the Arizona sun, but overall it’s still a sharp-looking car for its age. It comes with the stock BMW wheels and a fairly new set of Bridgestone tires. I also recently replaced the front shocks and struts before the car was parked. The parts alone were around $600, not including installation. I’m sure someone who knows these cars could either fix it, swap it, part it out, or turn it into a nice project. I honestly think there’s more money in parting it out, but I don’t have the time, space, or patience to do that myself. The only reason I’m selling it is because my apartment complex is strict about vehicles sitting around, and I already bought another car. $1,750 Please be reasonable with offers. No lowballers.
