I am selling this Penn 980 Power Mag for $100. These reels are tough as nails, you can't even break them if you wanted to. This is my favorite conventional reel ever made. Internally it's almost identical to a Penn Senator 113 (4/0) but this reel has a magnet that allows you to cast farther than you could ever cast with a 4/0. This reel can cast up to a couple hundred yards once you've mastered casting it. I've fished it countless of times, it comes with me every where I go fishing. This reel is still smooth as butter since the first day I got it. This reel has never let me down. I've caught countless number of sharks, tarpon, barracuda, snapper and grouper. You can use this reel to fish off piers, jetties, bridges, from the surf or even bottom fish on a boat. You name it this reel can handle it. This reel is a 10/10 mechanically and about a 6/10 cosmetically but don't let looks deceive you. The reel has 500yds of 50lb Power Pro Hi Vis Yellow.
