Red Maranta’s are known for variegated ovate leaves with entire margins that fold at night to resemble praying hands. New leaves appear as a rolled tube. Maranta’s such as these prefer a well-draining planting mix and bright but indirect light. Longer light hours, humidity and warmer temperatures will encourage faster growth and flowering.
