Description

Early 19th-Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers – Antique Charm Beautiful antique mahogany chest of drawers, dating to the early 1800s (George III / Empire period). Gorgeous flame mahogany veneer on the drawer fronts with warm patina that only comes from 180+ years of age. Classic form with five spacious drawers, hand-cut dovetails, original brass pulls, and keyholes on each drawer. This piece has that rich, time-worn character we all love. There are scratches, a little bubbling and veneer loss here and there, and one drawer missing a slide (still functional). Nothing unexpected for a true antique, and the wear only adds to the authentic, collected look. Perfect for a bedroom, entryway, or as a statement storage piece in layered interiors. Solid, heavy, and ready to use. Check out my other listings for more antiques, and be sure to follow my profile for the latest arrivals. Curbside delivery available within Seattle for a fee.
