Description
Tail hook from US Navy Grumman EA-6B Prowler. Mounted on oak from a Stickley dinning table removed from the Aircraft Carrier USS Hornet. The artwork is made of wire from an arresting cable also from the USS Hornet. Plaque weighs about 65 lbs., and is constructed to be through bolted to a wall or placed on a stand. VAQ-131 Lancers are an Electronic Attack Squadron which flew the EA-6B throughout the 1980s and is based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Washington.
