1997 Mercury Grand Marquis

For Parts or as a whole, Just installed a $190 Starter, $250 Alternator & $100 Battery within 5 miles of being told the engine was possibly blown which I have my doubts. It started right up and I drove it home from the shop with it knocking but without a problem. It’s a 1 owner garaged kept car with the same mechanic for 28 years and has been regularly maintained as it should be..There is a small ding in the rear passenger side bumper that looks like the plastic can be popped out. This car has many parts that are either brand new or close too. About 160k on the motor and the oil was changed maybe 1000 miles ago and it passed inspection in May of this year with no issues as well. I’d like to get $1000 firm
