It had been sitting in my closet for 4 or 5 years, but I finally got around to restoring it. It began life as an early 90s black label Fender P bass (which I still have the original pick guard and electronics for) but it was pretty beat up and needed a new neck. As a result, it has a replacement Fender neck which does contain some minor fretwear but nothing that affects playability. You’ll see the back of the neck has holes where it used to have 70s tuners by the previous owner. However, I am using the tuners that are normally used on this neck. Included as well as a new neck nut which you can use later. It has a brand new Fender Player II Series MIM LOADED Pickguard and a brand new set of Ernie ball roundwound strings. The only thing that has been untouched is the bridge, so I’m leaving that up to the new owner whether to replace it. I adjusted the action the best of my ability so it’s definitely playable. In case anybody wants to know, I’m selling this because I have decided I would rather have a Spector Legend 4 bass. The price will be $500 FIRM! NO TRADES! This is a more than fair price considering these Mexican made Fender are selling for a good amount nowadays and the work that I put into restoring it.
