Description
Have been working on this Jeep for years and only driven very little, less than 1000miles/yr. Was not happy with the stock engine. A new engine was installed just in the last 12 months and haven’t driven it more than a few hundred miles since. Still being ‘broken’ in. Has good power, With the performance quality parts that were upgrades with all NEW not rebuilt, parts. If you look over the jeep you wont find a more capable TJ this clean with these parts, and this price. All work has been done to high levels. No pep boy parts, or shade tree work. Since I have had it, it’s been to the Rubicon once and most all local trails. Just no time for it, and should be enjoyed. Registration is paid, all up to date, currently on a non-operation status as I was not going to pay the higher registration fee as well as carry insurance on a vehicle I would not be driving ( owned a BMW M6, cad suv, ford and 2 wheels). I have all the California Exemption order (CARB EO) forms and receipts showing that everything on the jeep that pertains to smog laws is legal (both cat converters, intake, header, etc)… Went thru loosing my job, son and wife. On hard times and need to sell this item to help keep up with living expenses. Would keep it but circumstances dictate it must go. I own(ed) a drivetrain company and built the axles for a Jeepspeed race car that I was racing, but sold it all except the axles, and swapped them in to this build. Were all new when swapped. Axles alone if you tried to buy them complete, IF YOU Could find the Ried knuckles still, would be just over $10,000 alone. Looking for a very fair amount of $15000, should be listed for 10k more but need the $, and the jeep deserves to be enjoyed. Includes the below, and then some: Most all mechanical engine work was done 16 mo ago, and less than 500 miles ago… Transmission was rebuild entirely with new pump converter etc 24 months ago, about 1000 miles ago. Complete suspension systems and body of inspection 30 months ago. 1998 Jeep TJ Sport, AC, 4 Sp Auto trans w Overdrive(yes he read that correctly. It’s a four speed transmission out of a Cherokee, which is known to be the strongest Jeep trans available pretty much addressed with the proper cooling with an external cooler with two fans on it). Drives Great. No Death wobbles, or issues. Pre-run in the desert, Rock Bash if thats your thing, cruise the beach with the tops off and radio up... What ever you want from a jeep, this one will do it all, and in style and Reliably. *4.7 Stroker engine with new Clearwater head 2.02int and 1.6exh valves with perf springs. , ceramic coated JBA SS header, new style Intake, mopar OE cam, scat crankshaft. HP oil pump. This engine is a very mild ‘stroker’ that is made to run on 87oct. Custom exh with legal cat and muffler. Has high amp alternator and nice working AC. New injectors, all sensors (Mopar only), etc. Very clean. *Changed out 3sp auto transmission to the much better and with overdrive AW4 - 4speed trans. Trans was fully rebuilt with upgraded shift and new torque converter. Fully wired in like stock. No engine codes, no hack job stuff. Full professional 2 fan trans cooler that you cannot see and keeps the trans from ever reaching high temps. Trans oil temp gauge in cab to verify and monitor. *4:1 with 2wd low, 231 rebuilt transfercase. Has the best SYE kit – JB conversions super short w speedo correction done. *CV rear shaft *Currie RockJock axles front and rear- 5.38 ratio gears, 3” tubes F&R, rear has truss... Air lockers. These use the larger JK, rear and front gears. ALL, USA MADE shafts F&R. Yukon Super joints in the front. Reid Racing high steer knuckles, GM hubs, brakes, and Yukon hardcore lock out selectable hubs. This front axle alone would cost you over $6K to build in parts, IF you could even get all the parts. 5x5.5 pattern. *5 Raceline 17" true beadlocks. No rash, basically new. *5 Falken MT 35" tires (less than 1000 miles on them). *Rock Krawler PRO Aluminum long arm lift with 4" springs, 3 link front and trianglulated 4 link rear. This lift in parts is over $5500 plus about 20 hours of install. *Rear has VERY CUSTOM AND provides a much more controlled and nice driving experience, outboarded Fox Factory series (the best 2.0’s) shocks that have been custom tuned and is a significant improvement over any other stock placement TJ/LJ setup out there. *Currie antirock F&R sway bar systems. *Currie steering System. *PSC high pressure top of the line pump, and hydro ported steering box, custom fit reservoir, front mounted alum cooler, and assist ram, and this system alone is about $2100. *Fox Custom IFP air bumpstops in front. Yes hydraulic internal floating piston bumps. *Full engine skid/belly pan protection. Current still off. *Savvy Aluminum front bumper, winch mount and tow hooks. Also includes tow bar mounts and towbar. *10.5K lbs winch with synth line & remote control. *Savvy Aluminum rocker guards w/steel steps/rails. *Savvy Aluminum
