Although designed as an entry level model, never the less the NordicTrack T5.7 has many innovative features making it useful for general exercise and weight loss. Employing the latest in treadmill technology, it is available at a budget price. Benefiting from a spacious (20" x 55") tread belt, and driven by a powerful 2.5 CHP motor this model uses the "DualFlex" cushioning system. This is a Space Saver treadmill which means that after use it can be folded up into a near vertical position so as to take up less storage space. This treadmill is iFIT compatible. This technology connects to the internet allowing you to add interest and functionality to your workout. You can recreate routes on GoogleMaps and even work out with Jillian Michaels. It should be noted that this requires the iFIT module and membership to iFIT which is sold separately. The console incorporates a large, 6" backlit display. With a wide viewing angle you can easily track your total workout progress. Other essential workout data such as speed, time, distance, pulse and calories burned combined with a scrolling Cross-Trainer display Cardio-grip heart rate monitors are built into the handlebars with the pulse rate information displayed on the console.
