John Deere MT (1951) is a row-crop tractor that was nicely refurbished. READY TO WORK OR READY TO SHOW. Many new parts, tin is excellent. Gasoline-fueled, standard 540 pto, four-speed unsynchronized manual transmission. The tractor is equipped with a narrow-track front axle, a rear power take-off shaft and a touch-o-matic hydraulically lifted hitch assembly. The body and running gear of this row-crop tricycle model were repainted in JD green during a refurbishment under prior ownership. Details include wraparound horizontal grille bars, and John Deere badging. Stopping power is from independent rear drum brakes. The operator’s station houses a green steel seat with yellow vinyl cushions. Controls include a hand throttle, a clutch lever, and twin pedals for the individual rear brakes.
