Beautiful vibrant oil done by renowned artist IL Bacon (Irving Lewis Bacon US born 1853, died 1910) in circa 1901. There is an online record of sales of Bacon’s works at auction. Upwards of $7.5K depending on the size and medium of the art work. Paper label, on backside of frame, lists Charles G. Calder at 258 West Minister Street, located in Providence, RI. Mr. Calder was a prominent art dealer and art supplier at this gallery location. He was also a member of the Providence Art Club. Some damage to the canvas, and damage to the original frame. Displays nice. Size, 25 inches W x 15.5 inches L approximately. Today sale price only, $225.00.
