Description

This original vintage oil lamp burner fits onto certain glass oil lamp bases (with internal threads). Has 3" diameter (3 1/4" across including thumbwheel), 4 intact prongs to hold chimney lamp shade, 1 3/8" diameter threaded base (that would screw into a lamp base), and a functioning wick-moving thumbwheel that has the maker's mark--"P&A Thomaston Conn Dorset Div, Made in USA". 3 original fabric wicks included (1/2" wide, 7" length). NOTE: lamp base and shade NOT included. As with any vintage items, the burner shows its age but has character and is functional. Please check photos carefully as they are part of the description. Pair this special piece with a lamp base and shade for an oil lamp experience from the past.
