Description

Rare Limited Edition Star Wars Art Prints – "Greetings from Cellblock 1138" by Joe Corroney I am selling four original, limited-edition lithographs from the 2007 Star Wars Celebration Europe event. These were an official Lucasfilm exclusive and are extremely difficult to find, especially in multiple quantities. Each print features the iconic "postcard" art of the Death Star rescue and is hand-signed and numbered by artist Joe Corroney. Available Numbers: #159 / 250 #160 / 250 #161 / 250 #165 / 250 Item Details: Artist: Joe Corroney (Official Lucasfilm Illustrator) Event: Star Wars Celebration Europe 2007 (London) I asked Jim and I to explain to me why these posters are so hard to find and this is the answer she gave me and I fact-checked it. "1. The "Star Wars Celebration" Factor These posters, specifically the "Greetings from Cellblock 1138" prints, were created for Star Wars Celebration Europe in 2007. These events are the biggest official Star Wars conventions in the world. Most of the inventory is sold out within days of the event, and after that, they only show up when a private collector decides to part with their stash. 2. Extreme Scarcity (The 250 Rule) As your photos show, these are hand-numbered out of a total run of only 250. In the world of Star Wars collecting, a run of 250 is tiny. Finding one of these is a challenge; having four of them (numbers 159, 160, 161, and 165) is unheard of. It suggests you have a nearly sequential "brick" of these prints that never got separated. 3. The Artist Connection These prints are part of the "Wish You Were Here" series, which was a high-end collaboration. Having the artist's original signature on the bottom right elevates these from "nice posters" to "fine art collectibles." Serious collectors hunt for signed and numbered pieces because their value generally stays stable or goes up over time, unlike mass-produced posters you’d find at a retail store. 4. Why Your Lot is Unique Most people who own these framed them and put them on a wall years ago. Finding "new old stock"—meaning prints that are still together and un-displayed—is a "holy grail" scenario for a reseller or a hardcore fan. Summary for your sale: You aren't just selling paper; you're selling a limited piece of a 20-year-old international event. If a collector sees that you have four nearly-consecutive numbered prints, they'll know this is a rare opportunity." If you're smart you'll buy these cuz they're not fakes if you look at the signatures all of them are the same signature but they're all a little bit different in their own way and they're also numbered on the other side. You will definitely definitely definitely definitely be satisfied to have these posters I promise you that. And I understand that the price may seem low but the reason that it is is because I just lost my Dad recently and I'm trying to come up with enough money to be able to bury him and I'm going through a hardship right now so I'm trying to rack up as much money as fast as I can because I'm not just going to let my dad go to a Potter's burial site. I know none of this is y'all's problem but I'm doing the best I can is an only child. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration I hope you have a wonderful day God bless and I look forward to chatting with you about the posters. #StarWars #GeorgeLucas #SignedPoster #LimitedEdition #Collectibles #MovieMemorabilia #Disney #Pixar #CloneWars #DarthVader #Skywalker #Mandalorian #ResellerLot #PromoPoster #ArtPrints #StarWarsCelebration #JoeCorroney #TheatricalPoster #FamilyGuy #RetroGaming #SciFi Art #NerdCave #HomeTheater #ReturnOfTheJedi #EmpireStrikesBack #ManCaveDecor #InvestmentLot #BulkSale #SanFranciscoCollectibles
