Description

For Sale: 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Over the last 5 years, this sprinter van has been one of the most fun vehicles I have ever owned. It’s built extremely well, gets great gas mileage and has a few quirks to make it fun. It handles very well driving down the road and it’s a great vehicle for roadtrips or camping. I am selling this van because, with a baby on the way, my wife and I will need a different vehicle for adventuring. As a professional airplane mechanic, I’ve always prided myself in taking the best care of my vehicles. I’ve tried to do just that with this van. Thank you for your time. Benjamin 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500 296,652 miles High roof Dual Rear Wheels 2.7 liter diesel motor - pre DEF and DPF Upgraded front leave spring Powerful diesel auxiliary heater - you will not be cold! Newly replaced climate control unit. Professional wood installation - it’s beautiful on the inside! Replaced injectors, glow plugs, turbo resonator, exhaust gasket. I have spent a significant amount of time and money maintaining and up keeping this vehicle. I would keep longer if I didn’t have a baby on the way. Unfortunately, I do have a check engine light due to two things - I believe one is for the EGR and another is for the cam sensor. I replaced the cam sensor, but with a non-OEM sensor. I think the engine does’t read it correctly on start up. But, it runs and drives just fine. An OEM sensor is less than $100. The sliding door also doesn’t work well, so we just keep it closed. Bed, hitch-mounted platform and all camping gear will be removed from the van prior to sale. Asking $12,000 or best offer. Regards, Benjamin
