We found a cargo van for a little over 12k we drove 3 hours and we put 500 dollars down to save it so we can test drive it. bad brakes, transmission oil was burnt, smelt inside the van, low tires. another thing was they raised the price to 14k on the paper that was in the van after test drive van was bad shape wires showing in the back they refused to return are 500 dollars. Efrain was rude and kept telling us "welcome to the real world" very unprofessional! my bad we should have done are research before doing any thing with these father and son scammers. apparently we are not the only people they have done horrible business to. Would never ever recommend buying any vehicles from this business.nothing but lies photo shop we went to a repitable dealership they over herd us talking to these scammers at father and son and took 500 off of the cargo van we bought they know about this company father and son so this repitable dealership gave us a deal like no other and they where very professional and we got a excellent cargo van where not the only one who have gotten scammed from father and son scammers

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone to this auto dealership. I was working a deal with Efrain over the phone due to being over 3hrs away and to hold the vehicle he recommended me to send earnest money to hold it. I sent $500. Called them when I was an hour away to let my hem know, they didn’t have the vehicle ready took 20mins to bring the vehicle and once he brought it out it didn’t match the pictures. We didn’t end up making the deal and he refused to give back the $500 saying it was non refundable. NEVER letting me know prior to sending the money. Efrain was extremely unprofessional and rude with condescending remarks of “this is the real world”. As business owner myself this was extremely unprofessional and horrible experience. I would never buy a vehicle from these people and NEVER send a deposit. SCAMERS!

My husband and I recently purchased a 2015 Tahoe from Father and Sons. Given the year It’s expected to be in “used” condition… however after purchasing the vehicle and trying to connect to Bluetooth, I noticed that it wasn’t working, nor was the USB port (at-least properly, it kept cutting off) so I made it known to them within the hour of driving if off the lot.. they closed at 5:30 so we were asked to come back the next day… we also received the vehicle with less then 1/4 gas which was “more then is usually given” per the salesman, so we drove down to Chandler where we decided to fill up before our trip back to town, but noticed the car would not take gas properly. It was clear that it was an issue with the charcoal canister, so after the Bluetooth issue, I also made them aware of that. Again, it would be looked at tomorrow… thankfully they did fix the gas issue, but I believe they never once filled up the car with gas or they would have caught that issue and potentially saved the customer gas and time for something that should have already been taken care of. As far as Bluetooth, that car itself doesn’t have Bluetooth capability for music, so I said okay as it still had the USB port, so I could listen to my music. Once checking it out, he said you had to wiggle it and try it a few times for it to work… we gave it a couple days and it has never once worked properly. Unfortunately we couldn’t keep taking time to go up there and have them fix things that should have been working properly in the first place. So definitely check and ask about everything little thing beforehand!

Everything else has been good with the vehicle itself, I do love it but those are things that definitely could have been avoided had it been inspected correctly, and it makes you think what else could have been overlooked.

Edited: The reason for the 2 star review was while they did fix the gas issue, (which isn’t a wear and tear issued it’s a necessity as the vehicle needs the gas component working properly) is because
1. I don’t feel the vehicle was fully inspected and it required of me to take time and money to come and get it fixed.
2. We also did put a deposit down, to hold the vehicle for a few days while I was waiting for the approval from my credit union, $500 to be exact and it took nearly two weeks to receive it back, which was a little frustrating as they mentioned it should take 2-3 business days.
3. The car again, had little to no gas, and was dirty when we received it…We were given $20 to go wash it ourselves. I personally feel when you buy a car it should be clean, and have more then 1/4 gas. I understand it’s a smaller dealer but you have to compete with the bigger dealerships that do go that extra mile to make customers happy.
4. The USB issue is still there and I did understand the car didn’t have the Bluetooth music capability, so I relied on the USB for my music, and again, it isn’t working properly. While we were there, instead of saying just jiggle it and give it a few tries, it would of been better to have fixed the issue instead of us just doing all that extra stuff for it to “work”… you wouldn’t tell a customer that they have to jiggle the key a few times and give it some time for the car to turn on… you would fix the issue. But I now understand it’s our job as customers to make sure everything works properly and not just rely on the dealership. I did have a mechanic check out the main components of the vehicle and there was other things that weren’t brought up to them because again, I understand it’s a used car. I’m not denying that, the paint being a major one that I would of been able to see a lot better had the car been cleaned, but that’s cosmetic, my issue now is an electrical one that is going to cost me money to fix when it’s clear it wasn’t working properly from when the vehicle was sold and I wasn’t given a solution to it.

Worse place ever we have bought 2 cars from them and both have had issues a few months after purchase. This last one we have took in like 4 times in less then a year and it out on me in the road. Then being pregnant I had to push the car. Went to speak with them and they just tell well get a tow truck and have them take it to our after our house we will look at it tomorrow. Then spoke with the dad and he said please have a seat I will help shortly. Never came to help send his son to tell us the same thing.

I unfortunately had a terrible experience with father and son auto. I was in the process of purchasing a used truck from them, and took the truck home with me for 1 night. That was enough time for me to realize the truck was not for me. I was mislead, and many details about it were kept from me. When I tried to return the truck, after having it only 1 day, I was told I would NOT receive my down payment back, and was told it was due to the “cost of paperwork”. I then tried to get my money back legally but they refused to submit any documentation. The cost of pursuing the case was too high for me at the moment so I ended up losing my money. Please stay away from scammers like this small dealership.
