Vintage Modern Ron Rezek Stainless Steel Awesome Floor Lamp with Dimmer

This is a super cool piece. See below excerpt from Lumens on Ron Rezek and his legacy. This is a stainless steel and gold floor lamp. Very nice used piece in good shape, would benefit from a solid detail/polish job. I’ll be happy to have it done per buyer request. Worked well last time it was plugged in and used to light a room although it has been more of a sculpture since the room has overhead lighting. Has a dimmer which is nice, and plugs into standard 110 outlet. Truly spectacular conversation piece. Was thousands of dollars new and is no longer available anywhere. Check eBay for largely marked up examples. ——————— The Ron Rezek Story Rezek's design career began in 1970 with a bright orange plastic water rescue can designed for professional life guards (and still in popular use today; think "Baywatch"). After that stunning success, he established Ron Rezek Lighting in 1978 to design and manufacture contemporary lighting fixtures (selling the company to Artemide in 2004). In 1986, Ron Rezek almost literally turned the ceiling fan world on its head when he designed the first truly contemporary ceiling fan, the Stratos ceiling fan. The sleek metal fan did away with traditional ornamentation and blade irons. Other similarly modern, stream-lined designs followed, leading to Rezek establishing Modern Fan Company, still the only company in existence to manufacture only contemporary fans. To this day, Ron Rezek continues to innovate with his designs for Modern Fan and its sister, Period Arts Fan Company (with ceiling fans based on 20th century American and European design movements).
