1979 Chevrolet Bonanza C20/C10

If the truck is too expensive, please move on. If it doesn’t sell I’ll just keep it. Up for sale is a beautiful 1979 Chevrolet bonanza C20 pickup that has been converted to a Short bed 1/2 ton truck. This was a one owner truck ordered and purchased through Caddel Chevrolet in Roseville California. She has the Bonanza package and has the following options: factory AC, tilt steering column, electric clock,dual gas tanks (currently only has the driver side tank), cargo light, tinted glass, deluxe grill, full exterior body trim, and interior hood release. Body: The truck is absolutely solid! No Rot or body filler! It had a repaint sometime ago but was done correctly. Paint is not perfect and it does show its age but still shines great! The original bed was shortened down by Empire Fabrication in Ventura CA and it turned out perfect! Just installed windshield and one piece back glass with new seals. Interior: Just did a lot of work to the interior. Installed new dash pad and dash components. Cleaned and detailed original gauges. Buffed original paint on dash, headliner and doors. New door panels and carpet kit. Chassis/Drivetrain : The frame was shortened down using the Porterbuilt fabrication shortbed conversion kit. Rear has a McGaughys C-notch. The front and rear suspension was fully rebuilt/replaced using 1/2 ton components, all new steering components as well. The rear has a 12 bolt rear axle with lowering flip kit and 2” drop shackles. Front has 3” drop spindles with new stock coils cut down 2”. Belltech drop shocks all around. All new brake components front and rear. She’s sitting on stock 15 rims and caps with new white wall tires. Engine/trans She has a 350 v8 backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission. Runs and drives great! Cruises at highway speeds with no problems. All Smog equipment intact. Recently installed complete new original style exhaust system from the manifolds to the rear bumper, brand new Catalytic Converter also installed. SHES COMPLETELY SMOG LEGAL! I have spent a lot of time and money building this truck and made sure everything was done correctly and no short cuts were taken. Clean title in hand and has current registration. You will not be disappointed with this beauty!
