Canon EOS 50D SLR camera w/ 28-135 IS USN kit lens, BG-E2N grip, 2 batteries, box and accessories

Up for sale is a Canon EOS 50D SLR digital camera, complete in its box with a 28–1 35 IS USM kit lens, and all that is pictured. I purchased this brand new in 2008 and probably took close to 80,000 shots over its lifetime (not used as much recently). I finally upgraded to a new mirrorless camera so this is off to find a new home. This camera uses the legacy EF mount and is capable of 15MP photos, and was the last camera in the X0D lineup to exclude video features. This camera is strictly for still photography only. Included is the BG–E2N camera grip that mounts to the bottom of the camera and allows double battery capacity as well as an extra set of buttons. Two batteries are included, although they may be slightly degraded from years of use. The kit lens is clean and comes with a UV filter that has been on the lens most of its life (cap not included). A few minor anomalies with this camera. The wheel next to the shutter button tends to slip a little bit, but is still usable. The rubber door on the side covering some of the ports has come off. The internal battery in the camera has gone dead, so until that’s replaced, the date/time will need to be reset when the camera loses power for an extended period of time. On the grip, the buttons can be finicky, and one of the tabs holding a battery in place has broken off. Both battery compartments still work, but one of the batteries will spring out when the door is opened. I can provide up to two CompactFlash cards at no extra charge, one is 4 GB, the other 16 GB, if requested. Local pick up only. I welcome all questions about the camera.
