Description

38-piece Franciscan Desert Rose dish set. This is the original version of this highly sought after pattern, created and hand-painted in California. Later versions (>1984) were mass produced in England and China. There are 6 place settings (dinner plate + salad plate), 6 coffee/teacups and saucers, 7 coffee mugs, sugar & creamer set, 5 dessert plates, 3 small bowls, a large serving bowl, a medium platter and salt and pepper shakers. The pepper shaker is chipped and there is a very small chip off one of the salad plates. Otherwise like-new condition. The set was a 1955 wedding gift, and was only used for special occasions. Price for the set is $295.
