Seller added the following information: Hey don, No worries man as its true. In the march 1971 issue of surfer there is a full page ad for the gypsy rider,it was one of the first true Australian designs made by imported oz shapers in America, they were made in San Diego at the g+ s shop and there were not a lot made, less than 600 org units as Corky Carroll left Hobie and came out with the corky Carroll space sticks label, other oz shapers like hoy runnels were making similar boards for Hansen,so those gyspsy riders were sought after by guys who knew how well they rode not to mention the color jobs and no 2 had similar color jobs as Gordon left that up to the glass guys to make them unique,I had a7' that had a peacock on it same shape as yours great to ride and the fin usually matched the colors own the board, You have a very unique piece of the transition era in awesome shape.Remember at that time most boards were still around 8. Hope that helps brother
