Peter Wright Anvil 113lb - Antique

Description

This is an authentic Peter Wright anvil - one of the best, most iconic anvils ever made. This London pattern anvil is heavy enough to do serious work, but also light enough to move around your shop. The hundredweight markings on the anvil are 1-0-1, meaning it is a 113lb (51 kilo) anvil - and my scale agrees. It is over 100 years old. The top (work area) measures 15" x 4", and the anvil is 23.5" long and 9.5" high. This anvil has good sharp edges and has seen plenty of use, but it is still in great condition and will be able to be passed along to your grandchildren with proper care. 7/8" Hardy hole and single pritchel. Has a great rebound and would be the centerpiece of any shop. Great for blacksmithing, bladesmithing or other metalworking. Cash, Venmo, or PayPal. In-person local pickup in Olympia, or I can meet you in the Greater Seattle area for a reasonable delivery fee. No shipping.
