24k gold plated in 1973 by Scotty's Plating in Las Vegas, NV, this patented adjustable wrench manufactured by Petersen Tool Company never really took off. Only 10,000 of these wrenches were manufactured. There will never be another like this made. Upon its failure to profit, Petersen Tool Co had several of the wrenches gold plated as thank you gifts to their financial supporters and employees. Here's one of them!
