For sale is antique English New Hall Tea Cup and Saucer Circa 1(contact info removed). The saucer is 5" wide 1" tall, the cup is 2" tall 3" wide. Both are in good condition. New Hall China Manufactory, Shelton, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire, England. For some 50 years between 1781 and 1835, the New Hall China Works made porcelain teawares, initially of hard paste porcelain (using the patented method bought from Richard Champion, as used by him and William Cookworthy in Bristol and also by the latter in Plymouth) and from around 1812-14 of bone china. In November 1804, the firm was trading as Messrs Hollins.
