Vintage 1950s Montgomery Ward Signature URR-289 1.5 Amp Sewing Machine

This is a very unique, collectible and working sewing machine. This Montgomery Ward Signature Series Model No. URR-289 Serial No. 55X was one of the first models that Montgomery Ward offered from their new contract with the Japanese manufacturing company, Happy Machine Company (Their contract with their previous manufacturer, National, was terminated in the mid-50s). This machine is very sturdy. Everything works. I do not have the manual but it is readily available for download or print online. There are many cams with this machine but there are no other feet. Please see photos as this is everything that I have. This machine is mounted in an original Montgomery Ward cabinet. The operating pedal is mounted inside the cabinet and has an extension on it so that it can be operated with your knee. The cabinet has damage to the finish on the top and front (SEE PICS).
