2 RARE VINTAGE LANCASTER "DART" DEPRESSION GLASS BOWLS

🌸The Lancaster Glass Company was in business from 1908 to 1937, and manufactured the "Dart" pattern only in 1932, making it one of the rarest patterns made during the Great Depression. 🌼The blank of the bowl has a beautiful scalloped rim, and the applied handles are open, ornate and delicately detailed. The Dart pattern is embossed on the exterior of the glass leaving the inside of the bowl smooth for functionality.  The design includes bundles of downward-pointing darts, and various glass textures. The base features a starburst for aesthetics and durability. 🌸Difficult to find in any color, the Topaz (soft yellow) is rarest. The other bowl color is Rose (peachy-pink). Photos do not do justice to the colors, textures or designs. Rose is in perfect condition; Topaz has tiny chip in base. Each bowl is approximately 2-3/4" tall x 11-1/4" across including the handles, and weighs 1-3/4 lbs. 🌼Asking $26 each, $50 OBRO for both.
