The ProForm XP 130 is a compact, fold-away elliptical machine for residential use. The console runs on batteries so you don't have to worry about finding an available outlet. The XP 130 offers built-in workouts including heart rate control programs and a pacing coach.DesignThe XP 130 folds up to save you floor space when you're not using it. The pedal arms pull off the side disc and lock into a vertical position. The pedal disk assembly folds in towards the upright bar, opening up a few feet of floor space. The XP 130 includes swing arms so you can work out your upper body along with your lower body. This elliptical has a maximum user weight capacity of 250 lbs.FeaturesThe ProForm XP 130 has digitally adjustable pedal resistance, which allows you to change the intensity of your workout by making it easier or harder to move the pedals. A water bottle holder is under the console and a built-in fan helps keep you cool during your workout. The pedal arms move in two directions so you can change up your workout by pedaling backwards. The side of the console has pulse sensors for you to check your heart rate.ConsoleThe console on the ProForm XP 130 provides immediate feedback about your workout and has a pace coach indicator. The LCD display shows the elapsed time, resistance level, approximate calories and carbohydrates burned, heart rate -- if you are grabbing the pulse sensors -- distance in revolutions and pedaling pace. When you use the built-in programs, the XP 130 pace coach indicators light up and prompt you to speed up or slow down your pedaling speed.ProgramsThe ProForm XP 130 offers 10 built-in workout programs that automatically adjust the pedal resistance and prompt you, via the pace coach, to adjust your pedal speed. The calorie goal workouts allow you to input a calorie goal for that workout. The console counts backwards until you reach your goal. The pulse control workouts change the workout intensity to keep your heart rate in a target zone. The distance program continues your workout until you complete 5,000 pedal revolutions.
