Collection of 5 Royal Delft Porceleyne Fles Bud Vases Mint Condition Vintage

Great Christmas gift! Fine collection of five Royal Delft De Porceleyne Fles bud vases. Individually they are most attractive, but as a collection they are stunning. They measure approximately from 3.5” to 4” in height. One of them is the very much sought after tear bottle (the one with the flat bottom and long neck) in which, according to Dutch fishing village lore, sailors’ partners were to collect their tears while the sailors were at sea. In excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. A wonderful addition to an existing Porceleyne Fles collection (or a great way to start one). Please check my other Royal Delft listings. Founded in 1635, De Porceleyne Fles (The Porcelain Jar or Bottle) is Holland’s most famous Delft Blue factory. Of the dozens of original 17th century Dutch pottery makers, only De Porceleyne Fles remains in operation. Collectors know that delftware produced by De Porceleyne Fles, (also known as Royal Delft) is recognized to be the standard against which all delftware is judged.
