Description
Camera is in very good condition, was basically like new a few months ago and I've take a few hundred pictures on it since. It has no IR or UV blocking hot mirror anymore inside, you can do the ghost hunting type thing with an IR illuminator, IR filtered, UV photos, astrophotography. You could also use a uv and ir blocking filter up front to take normal pictures again. I would get an IR pass filter roughly 30mm ($10-15) and just glue it to the front, I was holding up a 720nm filter and have had really good luck with this, you have to take your time to get it focused sometimes and sometimes not. It seems to be in focus across the puget sound 15 to 30+ miles out. Its 6mp but goes for $100 - $150 used, companies charge $250+ to convert these. The picture of the charger shows the distortion without any filter, and the unedited photo shows how the world looks with a 720nm (I have the white balance set, easy to change in a few seconds)
