Description

I have here one of the coolest amps from Gibson, the GA-8 Gibsonette!! This no nonsense 1 knob beast does everything from clean to MEAN with all sorts of beautiful tweed tones in between. This is an interesting circuit in that it runs two 6v6 tubes in parallel to create a much fuller sound for home or recording than you wouldn’t get from a regular Champ style amp. That with a bigger pine cabinet, larger transformer and 10in speaker makes this a perfect (better) ;) alternative to the Champ. IT RIPS! Original Jensen speaker! Magic Stuff:) New filter caps have been installed. Full service completed. Pilot light needs its bulb replaced. Just something of note. Switched to grounded power.
